The Reality and Response to Addiction Symposium is a free educational event brought to healthcare providers by the Richard G. Highlighting the event is Dr. Steve North. Prior to joining Eleanor Health, he practiced family medicine, including caring for people with substance use disorders, at a rural health center in the Appalachian mountains of western North Carolina.

Dr. North received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his medical doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency, Adolescent Medicine Fellowship, and Master’s in Public Health at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
