Congressman Bucshon & Lugar Center for Rural Health

The Lugar Center for Rural Health had the distinct honor of hosting Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-8) on August 16th. Upon arrival the Congressman toured Union Health's new Heart & Vascular institute that boasts state of the art technology in treating various heart disease and its complications. After the tour the Lugar Center for Rural Health arranged for the Congressman to meet with various Union Health administrators and employees to discuss topics pertinent to the Wabash Valley.

Those topics included the 340b Prescription Discount Program, Addiction and Medication Assisted Treatment, and Infant Mortality. The entire morning was filled with robust discussion and conversations geared toward solutions to this very complex issues.
