Lugar Center Staff Begins Volunteering on Local City Board
Starting in January of 2018 the Lugar Center for Rural Health's Research & Project Coordinator, Dan Hardesty, will begin serving on the City of Clinton Park's Board. Dan and his family live in Clinton (pop. 4,700) and he was excited at the opportunity to give back to the community.
"I've spent my whole life enjoying these parks." Dan continued, "From Little League Baseball, to enjoying the equipment when I was young and now these parks are where I take my son. I'm beyond thrilled to have an opportunity to give back and help in any way I can."
Below is a picture of Dan being sworn in with City of Clinton Mayor, Jack Gilfoy.
